SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES
31 March 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

JOINT Coventry boss Colin Pratt has revealed how the club will not tolerate a second successive season of failure.

The Bees have had a poor start with defeats at the hands of Peterborough over the easter weekend. Pratt said: ''Everyone will get the message that we are always looking at the situation and if neccessary we will make changes, but hopefully people will sort themselves out.''

BILLY Hamill is hoping to leave a Swindon hospital this weekend after suffering multiple injuries. Hamill crashed in Wiltshire when riding for Oxford and sustained vertebrae, rib and lung damage. He told the Coventry Evening Telegraph: ''I am feeling better day by day and I have now had all the tubes taken out of my body. I feel on the mend, and I can walk, but only slowly and erect.''

EDWARD Kennett and Daniel King will be looking to make home advantage count when they line up at Rye House for the British Under-21 Final on April 30 (7pm). Kennett is riding for the Premier League Rockets on a full-time basis and making occasional appearances for Elite League Poole. He has been named as one of four seeds alongside Rockets team-mate King, Workington''s James Wright and Sheffield''s Richard Hall.
