SPEEDWAY NEWS AND FIXTURES 20.3.05
20 March 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

HULL youngster Joel Parsons is facing six weeks on the sidelines after his crash with Paul Pickering at Craven Park last week.

Parsons sustained a triple fracture of his collarbone in the accident which saw Pickering suffer serious arm injuries. Parsons said: ''I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I''ve been really unlucky in the first three meetings.''

ARENA-ESSEX have a major injury concern over Mark Loram, who was detained in hospital on Saturday night after a crash at Eastbourne. Loram is being transferred to a skin graft unit on Sunday to see a specialist regarding an injury to his clutch hand. The Hammers also have Roman Povazhny and Paul Hurry carrying knocks, but the duo should be fit for Tuesday''s clash with Poole.
