THE INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW FINDS A NEW FACE FOR 2004 SHOW
07 July 2004 - MCI Exhibitions Ltd

The International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, organised by MCI Exhibitions Ltd, plan to take a radical change of direction by launching a daring new advertising campaign for 2004 using a mystery female.

The sexy new creative will be placed in selected trade and consumer titles from September and will be used on a number of 96 sheet super-sites along the M5 and M6. The mystery female will also feature in a number of PR initiatives.

Held at Birmingham’s NEC, 5-14 November 2004, the event attracts around 200,000 visitors making it one the largest consumer shows in the UK. It showcases a mix of the first UK appearances of new motorcycle and scooter releases, accessories, live action and a number other features.

Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, Finlay McAllan, commented:
“The new advertising creative is major change of direction for us but very striking. We’re looking forward to releasing details of it in the coming months”

The official show website, which is now live, has also received a major makeover to coincide with the new strategy.
