SUPERTRAPP ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIPS FOR FLAT TRACK SEASON

SuperTrapp Industries, a Cleveland-based manufacturer of performance exhausts, continues its long-time support of flat track racing by serving as an official product sponsor for a group of racers that includes top finishers and rising stars.

Each racer included in the sponsorship received two Bill Werner-designed race systems as well as two slip-on mufflers for single cylinder machines. Werner, 13-time AMA Mechanic of the Year, recently joined SuperTrapp as a consultant and brings more than three decades of racing experience to his new designs.

“This is the first racing season that we have had the privilege to work with Bill Werner, and we couldn‘t be more excited,” said SuperTrapp race coordinator Ted Bradley. “His record speaks for itself, and we feel his newly designed systems can really take the sport to a whole new level.”

SuperTrapp sponsored riders are chosen based on many factors including performance, attitude and ambition. Those riders who represent SuperTrapp products well will be offered sponsorships in coming seasons.

Among the racers sponsored this year include Mike Hacker of the SuperTrapp Racing Team, Joe Kopp, Kenny Coolbeth, Willie McCoy and Johnny Muphree. These riders took five of the top ten positions in the 2004 standings.
