STREET ROD HAS THE WRIGHT STUFF
23 March 2005 - Harley-Davidson UK
Footballing legend and TV personality Ian Wright collected his brand new VRSCR Street Rod from Thames Valley Harley-Davidson, Maidenhead last weekend.
Bringing along his son and England star Shaun Wright-Phillips to the premier brand showroom, Ian said: “Being a long time Harley fan I wanted to try the new Street Rod as soon as I heard about it. I like the Roadster style, and a lot of people are talking about this new bike.” The Street Rod is the legendary Motor Company’s newest addition to its expanding V-twin performance family – combining the power of its custom cruiser sibling, the much-acclaimed V-Rod, with a Roadster style and chassis that can bring a smile to the most ardent sports-bike fan. Paul Stephenson, dealer principal at Thames Valley Harley-Davidson, said; “Ian’s a great customer of ours, and we’re more than pleased that the new Street Rod has caught his eye. It’s the perfect addition to anyone’s dream garage; it’s got the performance, the handling, and of course the Harley-Davidson legend on it.” The VRSCR Street Rod is £10,995 on the road and is available for test rides now at Thames Valley Harley-Davidson.
