INTERNATIONAL DESIGN-AWARD WON BY MZ
16 March 2005 - MZ Motorrad- und Zweiradwerk GmbH

On 10 March 2005 the German motorcycle manufacturer MZ Motorrad- und Zweiradwerk GmbH was awarded the internationally renowned iF Product Design Award 2005 for its latest product – the MZ 1000 SF SuperFighter.

The awards presentation took place in the course of the CeBit fair in Hannover, that was opened on the same day.

This is the second such design award for MZ, the 1st being the silver award for its MZ 1000 S. Since 1954, the International Forum Design GmbH awards products for their innovative design and quality. The jury is composed of top designers, who are working for well-known companies such as Canon, Nokia, Porsche and BMW.

The MZ 1000 SF SuperFighter with its aggressive Streetfighter look is the latest product of the traditional Saxon motorcycle manufacturer. From this week on, it will be available with the German dealers and will be delivered to other European markets soon.
