AIM RACING LAUNCH TAKES PLACE IN SCOTLAND
26 February 2005 - Aim Racing
AIM racing launched its team colours and riders to the public on the 24th February 05 at Argrennan House Kirkcudbright Dumfries in Scotland.
The event was open to sponsors and the media. The event was attended by Jason Griffiths Head Of Yamaha Motorsport UK and Nobuaori Yamashita Head Of UK Operations For Arata and many other AIM VIP guests. The day was also special for AIM Racing as a Cheque for £2,000 was presented to Margaret Hislop in support of the Hislop Memorial Fund. Alistair Flanagan commented at the event “I would like to thank the guests for turning up today, the weather around the country is not too good at the moment and for them to make this trip up here is a tribute to all the hard work Jim Moodie and rest of the team have done over the last few days to make this event such a success. Most of the pre-season work has now been completed. We are off to America to give John some additional track time and then straight back to the UK to attend Brands Hatch test day on the 15th March.” “Whilst John McGuinness mechanics are at Daytona, Les Shand and his crew will be testing at Donnington prior to Brands, is all go from here to round 1. We as a squad are looking forward to the 1st round.”
