JIM MOODIE HEADS UP AIM RACING SQUAD IN 2005
17 February 2005 - Aim Racing
Former 600 Supersport champion and TT legend Jim Moodie will take the helm for the revamped AIM Racing Superbike team in 2005.
Jim has been involved with Alistair for a few years as Personal Manager to Sean Emmett. Jim brings with him a wealth of race experience spanning over 30 years. Jim commented “Discussions with Alistair started towards the end of the season and we came to an agreement in October 2004. During the closed season I have been working hard with the riders and all the team members to understand what is needed and how to get the best of everyone. Alistair is backing the 2005 Superbike and road racing championship with a new determination and an even stronger compelling desire to win.” “I am speaking on behalf of all the team when I say that AIM Racing will be a fully committed team in 2005 in BSB and on the road racing calendar. We will shock a few teams and will contest each championship to the best of our ability, we are not here to make-up the numbers.”
