ALEX GAULT MOVES UP A GEAR
10 March 2005 - E P Barrus Ltd

A new, exciting challenge for Alex Gault has opened up this year when he contests the 2005 British 125GP Championships.

Alex has signed a three year contract with the Italian scooter and motorcycle manufacturer, Malaguti and he will be riding one of only 5 Malaguti GP bikes in the world, produced by the renowned Engines Engineering Team, the design/engineering house behind many leading Italian bikes.

E.P. Barrus Ltd, the UK distributor for Malaguti has supported Alex for the last few seasons and this year will be supporting him in a more substantial way as title sponsor under the team name BARRUS MALAGUTI.

Alex has a reputation of winning on the ‘unusual’. Competing with the might of established teams in every formula he has raced in, he has taken unproven machines on to win numerous championships. He may only be 14 years old but in his short career he has shown the natural ability and commitment to take him right to the top of sport.

Here is Alex’s impressive list of achievements:

2000
Scottish Junior Winter Pocket Bike Champion

2001
North of England Junior Pocket Bike Champion

Junior Endurance Pocket Bike Champion with Team ZPF UK

Scottish Junior Pocket Bike Champion

2002
