SPRING ITALIAN CAR DAY - BROOKLANDS - SATURDAY APRIL 30TH

The annual Spring Italian Car Day will be held once again at Brooklands on Saturday April 30th. This annual feast of Italian machinery is well known for its displays of rare and interesting Italian cars and motorcycles.

There will be plenty of action to see (and hear) on the infamous Test Hill where specially selected cars will delight the spectators throughout the day.

On this tenth anniversary of the event being held at Brooklands there will be a special featured display of Lamborghini Miura and ISO-Bizzarrini supercars. The iconic Miura, regarded by many as the most beautiful car of all time, will be celebrating its 40th birthday in 2005. Many of the UK’s cars are expected to be at Brooklands, including a version of the sensational Jota. The ISO-Bizzarrini Club has been invited to present a selection of models including the Grifo A3C Le Mans car, Grifo Can-Am, Lele, Rivolta and Fidia. Bizzarrini will be in attendance with several of the brutal Strada 5300GTs.

Entrance is £9 per person (£8 OAP, £5 children) payable on the day at the main Brooklands Road entrance.

Italian Car Concours
Stanford Hall
Sunday 12th June

The UK’s Premier Italian Car Concours for top quality Italian cars in the UK, will again be held in the grounds of Stanford Hall, the elegant stately home near Lutterworth, in Leicestershire, on Sunday 12th June. Last year’s main feature was a record gathering of 180 Ferraris and almost 100 Maseratis. The Midlands Section of the Ferrari Owners’ Club Concours, and the UK Maserati Club have both confirmed that they will be returning to hold concours competitions at Stanford Hall in 2005. There will also be a general concours for rare and interesting Italian automobiles. In addition to the main attractions there will be Italian car club displays featuring the very best of Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Fiat.

Admission is £7 per adult payable at the gate on the day.
