WEST COAST GETS A RE-FIT
02 March 2005 - West Coast Harley-Davidson

There are still one or two things to do but by and large they are complete and ready for the season.

A major part of the re-fit includes a new Custom Chrome and Design department headed up by Colin Rutherford. We’ve been pretty busy recently on several interesting and challenging projects – you’ll see the evidence of these throughout the coming weeks, but if you can make it to the Scottish Bike Show on 12th-13th March you’ll see them for the first time on our new Custom Stand. Colin will be happy to arrange a one on one appointment with you and looks forward to discussing your custom requirements.

To encourage you into the store soon we’re making the following offer:

A: Receive a full 15% discount off all parts and accessories bought or ordered from now until close of play on Saturday 5th March 2005. (so get your skates on)…. or
B: Award yourself Double Elite points on those items purchased – your choice.

To claim your discount you must print their newsletter and bring it with you when visiting the store.

Now open on Sundays

In addition to all the alterations we’ve decided to give you even more opportunities to shop at West Coast. As from 20th March we’ll be opening our Motorclothes, Bike Sales and Accessory departments every Sunday from 11am until 4pm. The Parts and Service departments will continue to operate from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

What’s new in Bike Sales?

If you’re a regular visitor to the store you’ll no doubt get the chance during March to see several new models including the fabulous new Street Rod appearing on the showroom floor. The latest offering from Milwaukee was ridden by Jim in Mallorca on a Competitive Test Ride Programme courtesy of HDUK and given he came back with toe sliders scraped, we can only guess that it cuts the mustard in the twisties. In addition, the Anniversary Fat Boy (15th Anniversary limited edition) plus the astounding new XL 883R show that HD are committed to giving you every opportunity to get on a machine that suits you and your riding style to a T.
These new models are additional to our 2005 offering and all are priced at a truly competitive level.

Spring’s Sprung Early in Motorclothes

With the first run of the season upon us shortly, you may be digging out the gear and giving it a dust down and general tidy up. If you’re considering upgrading we’ve got some good news. We’ve been beating the safety drum for protection for some time now and finally Harley have sat up and taken notice. There’s a host of new goodies just in, many of them with protection or protection pockets:

New Men’s “Blazing Bones” Biker Style Leather Jacket has a real nostalgic feel & features a cool skull & flames embroidered back.

New Ladies “Fascination” Leather Jacket is a “must see” with gorgeous rose, dagger & heart leather/embroidery on the sleeves.

Also for the girls, two new leather vests: “Fascination” matches the jacket & is a halter-neck with full-front embroidered rose & “Circling Sky” is side laced with a full-back embroidered eagle.

Just a sample of what’s available now at West Coast

First Open House of the season

On the 2nd and 3rd of April we’re hosting an open weekend which will probably be your first chance this year to take your free test ride on the very latest models. We will have a wide range of demonstrators to whet your whistle with and we do value your feedback after a test-ride, so book your place on the bike of your dreams and tell us your verdict. There’ll be loads going on in true Harley style. Plenty of action, the latest fashion and riding gear and bags to do for all the family, not to mention the famous CVHOG feasts! Put these dates in your diary!

The Gathering – May 2005

In May Clyde Valley HOG will host the 2005 Gathering at Ayr race course. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic event and judging by the amount of work that’s going into the project it’ll be a huge success. We’ve already sold plenty of tickets – if you’d like more details or require a booking form, either come into the shop or download a form from the Clyde Valley website. There’s a link to it from our own site.
