BREAKDOWN EXPERTS ENSURE BRAND STAYS ON THE MOVE A fleet of lime-green taxis have been set loose on the streets of London bybreakdown experts, Green Flag Motoring Assistance, in a bid to increasebrand exposure in the capital The taxis, which carry distinctive lime and dark green signature colours, were developed for Green Flag''s brand marketing programme, which also includes a website re-design and the introduction of some 20 Green Flag-branded rear and side truck panels. Green Flag''s brand manager Nigel Costello said: ''The taxis form part of a wider awareness campaign. It is hoped that the distinctive lime green taxis will give Green Flag exposure in the capital, while the trucks carry the message UK-wide.'' The branded taxis continue the safety in numbers theme, initially launched throughout motorway service stations in Autumn 2004. The six-sheet posters and washroom adverts highlighted six key facts about the importance Green Flag puts on the safety of its customers. Green Flag is exploring the option of rolling out liveried taxis across several other major UK cities later in the year. A further 24 branded trucks will also be launched throughout the UK in 2005.
