‘A STREET, A TRACK, AN OPEN ROAD’ - THE WEBSITE IS ONLINE

An interactive, informative and attention grabbing website will be launched on 17th February to compliment the new industry DVD, A Street, A Track, An Open Road.

All you wanted to know about the cast and crew, the making of the documentary, rider skills and top tips are on the site, which is arranged into clear and easy to navigate categories at www.stordvd.com

A natural link from the DVD, viewers can find out more about the characters and read the profiles of the cast including Chris Walker WSB rider and James Toseland the present WSB champion.

People who haven’t yet enjoyed the documentary style film can order it online. The DVD will cost £3.00 and any profits will go to the industry charity BEN.

In the film three riders are presented with three challenges which they mentor each other through under the watchful eye of three experienced judges, who are faced with the difficult decision to pick a winner. On the web a readers’ poll section provides the public with the opportunity to get involved and vote for their top rider.

On the website the public have the chance to WIN Chris Walker’s signed super mini-moto, which will be awarded at the NEC Show 2005.

The site also features live web streaming of footage that didn’t make it onto the DVD and a look behind the scenes.

Top tips for rider skills, from filtering to left hand cornering are an important part of the site and the slot will be updated monthly. There are three main areas that will help riders develop

Karen Cooke MCI’s Safety Manager said, “ This website has been created to compliment the DVD and continues the original and humorous theme of A Street, A Track, An Open Road.

“Alongside serious features and top tips there is plenty more footage to be viewed and some insights in the cast and judges.

“The site will be updated monthly and we are positively encouraging feedback from the riding community and anyone else who has watched the documentary. It’s also worth logging on for the chance to win Chris’s signed super mini-moto”
