EXETER have agreed terms with Czech Republic rider Richard Wolff to race for the Falcons as a temporary replacement for the injured Jernej Kolenko.
Wolff has previous British experience with Trelawny, which has included some impressive form at the Falcons'' County Ground venue. Exeter director Mike Spearpoint said: ''Richard quickly agreed to come over and cover for Jernej, and I am confident he will do a good job for us.'' IPSWICH have announced that former British Champion Chris Louis is taking over as captain of the Witches this season. Louis made a successful return to the sport after injury last year, and takes on the captaincy with Scott Nicholls having left for Coventry. Promoter John Louis said: ''When you look at the make-up of our team Chris stands out as the natural choice to captain the Witches.'' GLASGOW have received a pre-season boost with the extension of their sponsorship deal with Travel Inn into a second year. The team will now be known as the Glasgow Premier Travel Inn Tigers as a result of Travel Inn''s recent merger with Premier Lodge. Co-promoter Stewart Dickson said: ''We are very reliant on sponsorship and to be able to continue with this deal is also good profile for the club.''
