SPEEDWAY NEWS 20.2.05
20 February 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

WORLD Champion Jason Crump is raring to go for Belle Vue''s opener on Monday March 7.

Crump will ride in the Peter Craven Memorial and said: ''My preparations are going well and I''m in full swing for the new season. I''ve got all my new machines and everything has come together well so far. ''I''m doing everything I would be doing during the season apart from the actual racing.''

OXFORD boss Nigel Wagstaff insists he is still keen to include Greg Hancock in the Silver Machine side next season. Hancock''s parent club Coventry have told Wagstaff he must buy the former world champion rather then loan him. Wagstaff said: ''I had dialogue with Jeremy Heaver at Coventry and no agreement was reached but I still want to use Greg and Greg wants to ride for me.''
