RYE House have been rocked by the closure of a bridge on one of the main routes into Hoddesdon.
Rockets promoter Len Silver said: ''It''s almost like locking a gate at the entrance to our stadium. ''However the local Highways Authority have promised to display adequate detour signs to direct traffic via Essex Road, Pindar Road and Fishermans'' Way which will bring travellers to the main car park without undue inconvenience.'' WIMBLEDON have signed talented youngsters Andrew Bargh and Danny Betsen to bolster their reserve strength. Kiwi Bargh has already beaten some top riders in his home country and Betsen joins Mark Burrows, Matt Wright and James Clement at Plough Lane. Dons chairman Ian Perkin said: ''Andrew and Danny are significant signings for the Dons and bring a new exciting and youthful look to the side for the new season.''
