SPEEDWAY NEWS 15.2.05
15 February 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

THREE World title winners are included in the line-up for Belle Vue''s opening meeting of the season, the Peter Craven Memorial Trophy.

Sam Ermolenko and Gary Havelock have accepted invitations to compete in the Individual event, with the Aces'' current World No.1 Jason Crump also racing. Promoter Ian Thomas said: ''I am delighted with the quality of riders who are accepting invitations and also the feedback from supporters.''

AIDAN Collins hopes that his impressive third place in the Telford Ice meeting will remind promoters that he is still available for the new season. Collins rode for Workington last year but is so far without a team place despite significantly raising his average. He said: ''It was a chance to give everyone a nudge and say that I want to ride - I''m 22 and I need to be riding.''
