LUKAS Dryml has returned to Oxford - five years after first joining the Cowley club.
The Czech Republic international won the league with Oxford in 2001 and has since had spells at Poole and Peterborough. He said: ''This is a great feeling for me, it almost feels like I am coming back home and I am very excited about the new season, especially with the great team Oxford have.'' WEYMOUTH have been forced into a change of team plans after new rider grading rules were introduced for team building. The Dorset club have freed Gary Phelps as a result of the new regulations and are now looking elsewhere. Boss Brian White said: ''With all 13 Conference League sides affected, there are 13 managers chasing a very limited group of available riders right now which is difficult.'' MARK Thompson is on his way back to Mildenhall - for his fourth spell with the club! Thompson will be the club''s third heat-leader alongside Jon Armstrong and Chris Schramm as the club look to defend their Conference League crown. The new Mildenhall owners are hopeful of confirming more signings over the next few days and have appointed Wayne Swales, son of Peterborough boss Trevor, as team manager.
