6TH DIRT RIDER EXPO WILL BE BIGGEST AND BEST TO DATE
16 February 2005 - Dirt Rider Expo
Following the success of Dirt Rider Expo 2004, which was hailed by the press as “The most cohesive effort since the heady days of Bristol”, Promoto have announced the dates for their sixth Show.
Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th November 2005 Dirt Rider Expo will remain at Stoneleigh-Park, as the organisers believe that continuity has been a vital ingredient in the event’s success. “Our research shows 85% of visitors stating that they will return to the Show this year, so changing the venue would only serve to confuse people,” explains Promoto spokesman Dan Sager. Last year’s Dirt Rider Expo expanded into a 2,400 square metre third hall, which was a great success and well received by both exhibitors and visitors and will be retained for this year. However, Promoto have listened to feedback from both trade and public and as a result Hall 1 will remain retail only, while Hall 2 will be exclusively for display and Hall 3 will be split for display and retail, with the retail area will be around the outside of the display area. Classic enthusiasts will be better catered for in 2005, with the addition of a whole new display and retail area for Twin Shock and Classic in the reception hall of the Blackdown Buildings, close to the Live Action Arena. With all of the major motorcycle & clothing brands investing significant amounts of money in promoting their products to an enthusiastic audience, standards of presentation for 2005 are expected to be the highest ever – will KTM be Best in Show again? “Dirt Rider Expo 2004 was the biggest ever off-road show the UK has seen, whether you judge it by flor space, exhibitor numbers or visitor numbers,” notes Dan Sager. “The only way is up, so this year’s show will be even bigger and better.”
