PREMIER League title hopefuls Exeter have been taken over by GoSpeed Ltd in their last season at the County Ground.
GoSpeed supreme Terry Russell said: “This is definitely the final season, there will be no more extensions of the lease. “We want to take the Falcons forward to a new stadium at Westpoint. If that doesn’t happen then it will be the end of 75 years of speedway in Exeter.” OXFORD will reveal a new signing in front of their fans at a forum at Cowley Stadium this Thursday. Silver Machine promoter Nigel Wagstaff said: “This is a massive signing for the club and the team for 2005 as we push for major honours. “The rider concerned is coming to this country purely to sign in front of our fans and I can assure them that they will be delighted with the news”. NEWPORT promoter Tim Stone has promised a major team announcement in mid-week. The Wasps boss has so far named four members of his starting line-up for the 2005 Premier League campaign. He said: ''The scoring potential in the team is far bigger and the engine room is bursting which takes us back quite a few years when we always had one top rider in the reserve berth.''
