MICRON LEADS THE WAY WITH SUZUKI GSXR1000 CANS
11 February 2005 - Micron Performance Exhausts

Once again Micron is in the lead with the launch of replacement slip on cans for the 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 – 3 weeks before the bike is fully available to buy.

Micron offers Beta race and a Delta+ Road Legal silencer options in a choice of finish – Stainless Steel, Carbon Fibre (in classic black, blue or red) Titanium and coloured Titanium. The race can comes as low level or high level which retains the pillion foot pegs.
All the silencer options come complete with a stainless steel tapered connecting pipe giving performance gains of up to 7bhp over standard, and a weight saving of up to 2.5kgs over standard.

“We knew we had to move fast on this one as soon as the bike was launched last year, so many people have been asking us about replacement silencers and when will we have them” commented Ian McDonald, Sales Director for Micron. “We have a unique development process which incorporates digitisation of the physical parameters of the bike to ensure a perfect fit, and maximum gas flow and power gains. This ensures complete accuracy and allows us to develop product long before in record time ahead of the competition and before the bikes are available for sale” he continues.

Prices for the cans start at £199.99 Inc vat complete with tapered connecting pipe and fitting kit.
