SWINDON boss Alun Rossiter is predicting a bumper crowd when the club stages the Elite League Riders'' Championship on August 21.

He said: ''It will be wonderful to see the cream of the Elite League competing at the Abbey. ''With our position on the map I feel sure we will be able to attract a large crowd and it has all the makings of being a wonderful occasion.''

EXETER fans can learn about the club''s future plans at a meeting this week. Riders, management and supporters will gather at the Cat and Fiddle Inn, Clyst St Mary, on Monday at 8pm for the major news. Falcons press officer Tony Lethbridge said: ''This is a most important and very exciting announcement regarding the Falcons immediate future and we want our supporters to be the first to hear it.''
