NEW DIRECTORY SERVICE FUELS MAG FOUNDATION

MAG is proud to announce that our corporate sponsor Mototelecom has decided to make what they hope to be a significant contribution to the new MAG Foundation through the new 118 directories Enquires service that it launched at the NEC.

Since the deregulation of the telecoms industry a new segment has opened in the market place as BT no longer control the directory enquires. There are now about 200 licensed directory Enquiry services, of these, many are not yet operating.

Unfortunately these services rarely come up to the standard expected due to off shore call centres, whose staff find the local accents in the UK too hard to understand.

Mototelecom provides an alternative option to the services you may have seen advertised. Their directory Enquiry service is based in call centres in the UK. The staff utilise the same updated database of BT and the latest international and national business databases. This will ensure that you will have the very best chance of obtaining your number.

Some other services such as having the number sent to your mobile, or via e-mail are available at reduced costs, and the facility to be put through to the number of choice at only 9 pence per minute makes it extremely cost effective against other 118 numbers.

The cost of the service is set at a preferential rate for motorcyclists working out at around 25% cheaper than the others available, based on the average call time of 60 seconds.

The other major advantage to using Mototelecom is that for every time you dial the 118 049- number a donation of 2p is made to the new MAG foundation.

If we all use the new 118 049 service the additional funds raised will help us protect our interests as motorcyclists.
