PEUGEOT REDUCE PRICES AND EXTEND WARRANTY!
04 February 2005 - Peugeot

Peugeot’s market-leading range of scooters are looking even more tempting to the growing numbers of Britons converting to two wheels, thanks to significant price reductions on some of their best-selling models.

During the first 6 months of the congestion charge use of power two wheelers in London rose by 20% and Peugeot are confident that this pattern will be repeated throughout other towns and cities as increasing congestion combined with limited and often expensive parking encourage commuters to look to two wheels as an alternative.

As an added incentive, Peugeot have reduced the retail price of their iconic Speedfight scooter to under £1,600. Powered by an automatic 50cc engine, the Speedfight is the single best-selling scooter of the modern era thanks to its distinctive sports styling and technologically advanced specification. This includes a single arm front fork, powerful disc brake and “snake bite” exhaust system.

For riders needing to travel over longer distances, the chic 100cc Vivacity can be purchased for less than £1,500. At 81KG it is some 20% lighter that comparable 4-stroke scooters (the Honda Lead weighs 102KG), making it easy to handle and park around crowded streets. The Vivacity’s 12” wheels can soak up bumps and potholes, while the 190mm front disc brake provides confident stopping power. Under the seat is a storage bay big enough for a crash helmet or bag of shopping, depending on whether you’re coming or going.

The Peugeot Speedfight 50 now sells for £1,599- on the road.
The Peugeot Vivacity 100 T now sells for £1,499 OTR.
The final icing on the cake is that Peugeot are so confident in the quality of their scooters that they now offer a 2-year warranty across the entire range. With 300 Peugeot scooter dealers across the UK, there has never been a better time to consider buying a new scooter.
