SUZUKI LAUNCHES NEW MX SERIES
28 January 2005 - Suzuki Racing
Suzuki is to run a four-round national motocross series in America this year with cash incentives for privateer Suzuki riders.
The Suzuki U.S. Amateur Motocross Series replaces last year''s RM Cup and is a step forward in encouraging Suzuki riders and offering bonuses for the top 10 Suzuki owners in each class. The series kicks off on May 27-29 at Three Palms Raceway in Texas and will cover all four corners of America to give all riders a chance to compete. It concludes on September 30-October 2 at Prairie City, California. Sponsors, American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC), will have a strong presence at each round with Trackside Support trucks and technical staff providing free emergency parts and assistance for Suzuki owners. There will also be a Suzuki DR-Z110 Challenge sponsored by Two Brothers Racing, which has prepared 10 of the mini bikes for the series, one of which will be given away at each round. And at circuits that have a lake next to the facility, there will be a Suzuki/ Mastercraft Wakeboard Exhibition offering participants an opportunity to try the sport first hand. * Suzuki''s DR-Z110s (pictured) will feature at this Saturday''s San Francisco AMA Supercross in a Suzuki Crossover Challenge during the interval.
