SUPERCROSS RELIEF AUCTION TO TAKE PLACE FOR VICTIMS OF TSUNAMI IN SOUTHEAST ASIA
20 January 2005 - Clear Channel Entertainment

Top THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series Riders’ Jerseys Available

Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division will be auctioning off THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series riders’ jerseys for the victims affected by the Tsunami in Southeast Asia. Fans can bid online on the riders’ jerseys who qualified for the 125cc and 250cc main events at THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series January 8 via eBay beginning Thursday, January 20, 2005. The auctions will be available for 10 days and can be found on eBay by typing “THQ SUPERCROSS AUTOGRAPHED” in the search field.

“The tragic events that took place in Southeast Asia are unfortunate, and we want to do our part by helping the victims affected by this,” Ernesto Fonseca of Team Honda, who finished fourth at Phoenix.

Each jersey is autographed and Clear Channel Entertainment will donate 100% of the proceeds of the auction to the Red Cross Tsunami relief fund.

“When you see the photos of the devastation, how can you not try and help?” said Michael Prince, vice president of tactical marketing, Clear Channel Entertainment - Motor Sports. “At the riders’ meeting in Anaheim we asked the riders to donate their jerseys for tsunami relief. It was very fulfilling to see 100% of them say they would donate their jersey without hesitation. The guys who ride THQ World Supercross GP/THQ AMA Supercross Series come through every time they are asked.”

Several other riders who were not able to participate in Anaheim due to poor weather conditions have also donated autographed jerseys to the auction. A link to the auction page will also be provided on
