BMW’s R1150GS has built an enviable reputation as an Über tourer and now British screen specialists Skidmarx have developed a tall screen for the bike, giving riders extra protection from windblast and the elements.

Manufactured from 4mm acrylic, it is 10cm (4”) taller than the standard OE item and will replace it directly. Retail price is £53.25 inc. VAT. A version for the R1100 & R1150 GS models is also available, at the same price, but in 3mm acrylic, as per the OE item.

Skidmarx report increasing demand from riders of adventure sport style motorcycles and offer tall screens for most popular models, including the Honda Varadero, Suzuki V-strom and Triumph Tiger (up to 2000).

Skidmarx will subsequently be launching double bubble screens for Suzuki’s 2005 model GSXR1000-K5 and Kawasaki’s new ZX-6R 600 at this year’s MCN London Show (January 29-February 6).

Skidmarx are the screens of choice for many top race teams, including the Renegade Red Bull team of Leon Haslam & Haga in WSBK and HM Plant Honda in BSB. Their double bubble screens are manufactured in the UK from acrylic and are designed to directly replace the OE item. Choose from clear, light or dark tint SRP £49.95.
