YAMAHA MT-01 ARRIVING SOON!

The eagerly awaited Yamaha MT-01 will soon be roaring into official Yamaha UK dealerships.

From the original concept machine shown at the 1999 Tokyo show, the MT designers have set their target on creating something truly different, a machine with a soul and character all of it''s own. With a sports orientated
die-cast chassis, R1 derived brakes, front forks and rear suspension, the MT-01 has sports handling but with a hugely tractable torquey powerplant underneath.

The MT-01 has already received very positive reports from initial tests and demonstration machines will be available for prospective customers to experience the unique riding sensation of this exciting machine.

MT-01 supporting dealers will be showcasing the machine in a ''shop-within-a-shop'' MT-01 themed area.

Also available through dealers will be a comprehensive range of parts for after-market performance and cosmetic, complemented with an extensive line in lifestyle clothing and accessories.

The 1,670cc, V-twin machine will be priced at £9,349 ''On The Road'' and will be available from late February / early March, available in Deep-Armor Black or Silver Tech. For MT-01 followers there is a dedicated website at www.mt-01.com where regular updates can be accessed.
