BENNETTS GEAR UP FOR LONDON MOTORCYCLE SHOW
23 January 2004 - Bennetts

Bennetts, one of the UK’s major players specialising in motorbike insurance, will be welcoming fans to its stand (G74) at the MCN London Motorcycle Show from Saturday, 31st January.

The public will be able to meet and chat with the Bennetts ‘Babes’ who were discovered in 2003 after a nationwide search and unveiled at the NEC International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in November for the first time.

Each has enjoyed their time so far in the spotlight with several job offers coming their way including an offer from Playboy Magazine for Skegness’ Simone Linsell. Fans will be able to pick up free posters and postcards from the show and get the girls to sign them.

Bennetts will also be continuing its “Stop The Rough Ride” campaign, which was launched by World Superbike Champion, Neil Hodgson at the NEC. The campaign, in association with the BMF, asks motorcyclists to ‘name and shame’ the worst roads in their area, and has attracted extensive interest by riders and the media so far.

Visitors to the stand will be able to take away a free leaflet allowing them to lend their support and improve the conditions of roads for bikers.

Matthew Gledhill, Director of Bennetts, said: ”Bennetts are excited about this year’s show and we hope that biking enthusiasts enjoy what is on offer. We are committed to helping and assisting bikers via high profile PR campaigns like ‘Stop The Rough Ride’ and hope that bikers will show their support by visiting the stand and naming and shaming their worst roads.”

The MCN London Motorcycle Show at the Alexandra Palace runs from Saturday 31st January to Sunday 8th February.
