08 January 2005 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SAM Ermolenko will race on in the 2005 Elite League after agreeing to join Peterborough for the forthcoming season.

The veteran American has shelved any thoughts of retirement and will join fellow Wolverhampton asset Peter Karlsson in a new-look Panthers squad. Peterborough boss Trevor Swales said: ''Sam is really up for it, and I am very happy with the signing. I think the fans are in for an exciting season.''

PREMIER League Champions Hull have completed their line-up for the new season by confirming the return of Lee Dicken to Craven Park. Dicken has had several previous spells with the club, the last of which was in 2003 when he was unfortunate to be released mid-season. Vikings owner Paul Hodder said: ''Lee seems to be bubbling with confidence and enthusiasm. I''ve been very impressed with his dedication.''
