PETERBOROUGH boss Trevor Swales has confirmed his interest in 1993 worldchampion Sam Ermolenko.
But any deal depends on Ermolenko''s plans for the future and whether he decides to extend his career by another season. Swales said: ''At the moment we don''t know whether Sam is packing up or carrying on anyway. There''s only one person who knows, and that''s Sam - I don''t know myself.'' BRITISH Speedway promoters will officially launch their new travelling roadshow this weekend. The BSPA are taking a stand at the National Motorcycle Show in Manchester with top British stars Joe Screen, Simon Stead and James Wright making personal appearances. Spokesman Jim Lynch said: ''The display is stunning and we aim to spread the word of our wonderful sport by travelling around the country to shows like this.'' A BRAND-NEW Under 15 League will be launched next season. Detailed plans of the way the new set-up will operate will be revealed to promoters soon and it will include a series of radical and revolutionary ideas. British Under-21 manager Peter Oakes said: ''We have lagged behind other countries over the year in providing facilities for youngsters and I think that has been reflected in our lack of success internationally.''
