ARENA-ESSEX star Mark Loram believes that away form will be the key to the Hammers'' chances in 2005.
The Purfleet club missed out on the play-offs in their first season in the Elite League due to some disappointing results on their travels. Loram said: ''We''re always good at home, but not necessarily away. It will depend on the final line-up but hopefully we will do better than last year.'' BERWICK boss Peter Waite expects to unveil a new signing for the top of the Bandits'' line-up early in the New Year. Waite is believed to have been scouring the European market for his new man and is now awaiting confirmation of fixture dates. Waite said: ''As soon as the number one signs, all the other pieces in the team will come together. I am confident we will have a competitive team.''
