SPEEDWAY NEWS - 28.12.04
28 December 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

PETERBOROUGH boss Trevor Swales is backing new signing Billy Janniro to be a big hit with Panthers fans next season.

Janniro has joined the club in a loan deal from Coventry and will link up with Swedish world cup winner Peter Karlsson. Swales said: ''Billy is Billy, he''s an American and he''ll give some very good entertainment at the Showground next year, I''m sure of that.”

ROSS Brady has slammed suggestions that he wanted to leave Premier League champions Hull. The former Glasgow and Sheffield rider travelled to East Yorkshire from his Scottish base every week and insists he was happy to continue. He said: “I don’t know where these suggestions came from. I was happy to be back at Hull but it wasn’t to be, but it was the club’s decision and not my own.”
