HIGHEST SPECIFIC POWER OUTPUT EVER! The GP500 already generates a greater power density than any previous 500cc 4-stroke parallel twin - and this is after only limited testing! Early development has produced excellent results; progress is rapidly being made towards our initial power target of 90bhp with a wide spread of torque being generated across the rev range. Maxsym has now run two engines (up to 11,000rpm) with a number of strip & rebuilds completed on each. After some early issues with oil scavenging, all systems are now performing well and - since the first hours in an engine''s development life are always the hardest - this bodes very well for longer term durability.
