NEW PEUGEOT SCOOTER IS RALLY GOOD
29 December 2004 - Peugeot
Peugeot has dominated the World Rally Championship in recent times, winning for three consecutive years 2000-2002. To celebrate the introduction of the 307 WRC in 2004, the French company has produced its market-leading Speedfight scooter in replica WRC livery.
Available with a choice of 50 or 100cc engines, the specification of these scooters is every bit as impressive as their appearance. The punchy 2-stroke engine and powerful progressive braking are combined with a futuristic single-sided front swing-arm to guarantee a great ride. Asymmetrical twin lens halogen headlights complement the stunning looks and ensure that you can both see and be seen. Both scooters are finished in the distinctive red Peugeot WRC livery, complete with race graphics and enhanced by aluminium footplates, “snake bite” exhaust system and rear spoiler. Peugeot have gone to great lengths to ensure that owners can protect these stunning machines, by fitting an engine immobiliser + integral Boa lock (which loops out from the rear of the bike to lock around lamp posts, etc) as standard. The Speed fight 307 WRC 50P is ideal for urban use and sells for £1,899- on the road. The 307 WRC 100P is capable of keeping up with faster moving traffic and is well suited to longer city or country commutes. It sells for £1,999 OTR. A 2-year warranty is included for peace of mind.
