TRACK DAYS FOR BIKERS
17 December 2004 - Bennetts

Bennetts Insurance Services, one of the UK’s major players specialising in motorcycle insurance, is launching its very own Bennetts Track Experiences for 2005.

Independent research carried out by Bennetts in July 2004, asked bikers what else, other than motorcycle insurance, would they want to see Bennetts offer to bikers. Track days came out on top, above other products such as loans, credit cards, travel insurance etc.

As a result of this research and to fulfil bikers’ needs, Bennetts has teamed up with the UK’s friendliest circuit, Mallory Park, Leicestershire, to offer five exclusive track days, which will take place during the summer months (May to September) in 2005 at £99.

Dates For The Diary: 10 May, 7 June, 5 July, 16 August, 13 September.

Matthew Gledhill, Managing Director of Bennetts, comments: “This will be a first for Bennetts and it’s not something we will be making a profit on. We recognise that track days are a way that bikers can seek release, hone their riding skills and learn how to push their bikes to the limit in a safe and controlled environment.

It’s also a way for us to increase our brand awareness amongst bikers and gives us the opportunity to give something back to them.”

The Bennetts Track Experiences fits closely with Bennetts’ continued campaigns for improving safety for bikers on the roads and reducing casualty rates in Britain. The casualty toll is still too high and has always remained a concern for Bennetts.

Some bikers like to believe they can ride like Rossi or Hodgson on the road, but by encouraging bikers to save the high speeds for the track, bikers can ride to their limit without affecting other road users and reduce the risk of accidents.
