WOLVERHAMPTON SPEEDWAY
09 December 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association
WOLVERHAMPTON have agreed terms with David Howe who becomes their third confirmed starter for next season.
Promoter Chris Van Straaten met the British youngster to conclude a deal and he is predicting a big season for the ex-Peterborough man. He said: ''People sometimes forget just how young David is because he has been on the scene for a while now. ''He is still developing as a rider and I feel he has a big role to play for us next season. ''His enthusiasm is so refreshing and he loves riding for this club which also means a lot to both myself and our team manager Peter Adams. ''David is very serious about his sport, he adopts a very professional attitude and we are very pleased to have him back with us.'' Howe, 22, won the Ladbroke Olympique individual event at Monmore Green in October to end the season on a high.
