SHEFFIELD SPEEDWAY
06 December 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

SHEFFIELD TIGERS skipper Sean Wilson has described his new deal for next season as ''very good news''.

Wilson has agreed terms for his comeback campaign and will again lead the Owlerton outfit into action in March. Anxious fans were worried that talks would break down after initial talks failed to strike a deal - but Wilson is ready to bounce back from his serious neck injury in Sheffield colours. He said: ''I''m really looking forward to getting back on the track and doing what I do best. ''I''m also looking forward to seeing everyone again next season when we can start winning some of those trophies back! ''Can I take this opportunity of thanking everyone again for their valuable support during a very difficult time. ''I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a very merry New Year and I''ll see you all soon.''
