NEW BOSS FLIES IN TO CHAPEL ASH HARLEY-DAVIDSON
23 June 2004 - Harley-Davidson UK

Andy Kelly is the new manager at Wolverhampton’s Chapel Ash Harley-Davidson.

With more than 29 years of engineering experience in the RAF, car dealerships, and three years as aftersales leader at Chapel Ash, he brings exceptional levels of experience to the job.

His first goal at Chapel Ash is to give the customers a 4th July Celebrations party. Andy said: “We’re holding a very special party; we’ve got the first round of the UK’s Best Sportster competition going on at the event, and launching a one of a kind ‘Uncle Sam’ 2004 Sportster. Raffle donations will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and Air Ambulance charities, and live rock bands are just a small part of the entertainment. I want to reinforce the family atmosphere we’ve always had at Chapel Ash and continue to build relationships with all our customers.”

Andy, 46, is originally from North Wales and is married with three children. During his years spent in the RAF as an engineer he found his favourite riding roads while serving in Germany. A long-standing Harley-Davidson enthusiast, Andy currently rides a Heritage Softail Classic and is keen to experience more of the local riding routes with the dealership’s 150-strong Wolfruna HOG Chapter.

Chapel Ash is already organising more ride-outs with the chapter, including ‘Saturday matinee’ rides for those who have never experienced Harley-Davidson before. Volunteers from the chapter are available for anyone wanting to take an extended test ride with an experienced Harley-Davidson rider.

Future plans include customisation projects on the multiple award-winning V-Rod and Softail specials. Chapel Ash will be posting pictures of the projects on its website and can provide details of the 5,000 genuine parts and accessories available from Harley-Davidson.

And the dealership is further improving service with new blood in the team. There are three new additions in Rob Duxbury (42) the new aftersales leader, new sales leader Chris Alker (40), and sales executive Gary Edmondson (44).

For more information on Chapel Ash Harley-Davidson and the July 4 celebrations call Andy Kelly on 01902 371600 or visit www.chapelashharley-davidson.co.uk

The Harley-Davidson range starts with the Sportster XL883 at £5,195 and includes the V-Rod at £14,095.
