BIG START FOR THE BIG SHOW
26 November 2004 - Dirt Rider Expo
Big crowds turned out for the first day of Europe''s biggest off-road exhibition at Stoneleigh-Park, near Coventry and they weren''t disappointed.
Visitors had a chance to inspect the 2005 models from KTM, Polaris, Gas Gas, Suzuki, Beta, Yamaha, Montesa, TM, Sherco, Husqvarna, Honda & Kawasaki. Stars from the whole spectrum of two wheel sport turned out to see the latest bikes, clothing & accessories; Jamie Dobb, Paul Malin, Jamie Law, Lewis Gregory, Graham Gowland & Mark Hucklebridge, were joined by Superbike rider Steve Plater & Jay Vincent from MotoGP. Seating in the Live Action Arena has been doubled to accommodate 1,000 spectators and it&Mac226;s just as well, because people positively flooded in to the lunchtime show, eager to see World Stunt Champion Christian Pfeiffer. He thrilled viewers with his tricks on both Ducati Monster and Gas Gas trials bike, however the big surprise success was the Animal MTB stunt show - particularly the back-flip on a mountain bike. With three days to go, the organisers predict that this will be they UK''s biggest off-road show to date in every respect, making it Number One whichever way you look at it! Dirt Rider Expo is at Stoneleigh-Park from Thursday 25th - Sunday 28th November 2004
