How would you fancy riding out with double World Superbike Champion, James Toseland and raising money for a worthy children’s charity at the same time? Well, now is your chance…

Yorkshireman, James, will be heading down to Leeds Harley-Davidson on 11 August to lead a ride out to St James’ Hospital to present a donation for vital new equipment to the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal, and you could join him. All you need to do is arrive by 12:30pm, have a full tank of fuel and a ticket – the proceeds of which will make up the charitable donation.

All riders and pillions, whether Harley-Davidson rider, adventure bike rider or sports bike rider are welcome to come along and get involved. Riders can purchase their tickets from the Leeds Harley-Davidson dealership at Wellington Road Industrial Estate in advance or choose to just come along and pay to take part in the ride out on the day. However, those who buy the tickets in advance will be entered into a free prize draw for the chance to win a gift voucher worth £150 to spend on Harley-Davidson MotorClothes®, parts or accessories.

Shahzad Ahmed, Marketing Manager, said: “We are so excited to have James join us on the ride out, it will be a great event. Our opening event went really well and we had a lot of support both locally and from far and wide. So we can’t wait to host this ride out, which will benefit children and their families who need help and support from Jimmy’s hospital. Having the ride led by a famous Yorkshire motorcyclist is just the icing on the cake!

“All those who purchase tickets will also benefit from special discounts on parts, accessories and merchandise in the dealership on the day. After the ride out, we will be providing food, drink and a live band. It’s really not an event to be missed, so we look forward to seeing plenty of riders and pillions there! The more people who take part, the more pounds raised for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal.”

James Toseland said, “I have a strong relationship with Jimmy’s Hospital and have done a number of ride outs to raise money for the unit in the past. I am looking forward to jumping on a Harley-Davidson for this one and having the support of Leeds Harley-Davidson behind me. I shall be staying to have a burger after the event so make sure you come and say hi!”
