OVER 300 people attended the funeral of popular Exeter promoter Colin Hill. Hill, in charge at the County Ground for 20-years, lost his battle with cancer last month.
The service, arranged by Hill himself, was relayed to people outside the chapel. Falcons spokesman and close friend Tony Lethbridge said: “The coffin was draped with a large chequered flag and Exeter racejacket. It was a send off to remember.” GLASGOW have made their third signing for next season with Australian Trent Leverington returning to the club. Leverington spent the majority of last season with Stoke as he was frozen out at Glasgow. Co-promoter Alan Dick said: “The call we made to Trent last year was the hardest thing we have done at the club so to offer him the deal for next season is pleasing.”
