UNIVERSAL TECHNICAL INSTITUTE, INC. TO PRESENT AT LEHMAN BROTHERS 2004 SMALL CAP CONFERENCE

Universal Technical Institute, Inc., a provider of technical education training, announced today that it will present at the Lehman Brothers 2004 Small Cap Conference at The Phoenician Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The conference is taking place November 17-19, 2004. UTI''s President and Chief Executive Officer, Kimberly McWaters, and Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Haslip, will participate in the conference.

UTI''s presentation will be audio webcast live at 10:40 a.m. local time on Thursday, November 18, 2004 and will be available at UTI''s website at www.uticorp.com. An archive of the presentation will also be available for those who cannot participate in the live event.
