ARENA ESSEX have confirmed that Mark Loram will be back at Purfleet for a second successive season in 2005.

The former world champion was a massive hit with Hammers fans in their debut Elite League campaign. Promoter Ronnie Russell said: ''We''re delighted to have Mark back for next season, there is no more spectacular rider in the world and our fans are thrilled with the news.''

CONFERENCE side Carmarthen have been rocked by the news that Dean Felton wants to quit the club. Felton, based near Wolverhampton, is developing a successful career out of the sport and wants to cut down on the travelling to South Wales. He said: ''I have no axe to grind with the club and especially the Meakins family who have been first class. The supporters are superb as well.''
