SUPERCROSS CHAMP TO APPEAR AT 2009 CAROLE NASH INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW
01 September 2009 - MCI Exhibitions Ltd

NEC 27 NOVEMBER TO 6 DECEMBER

Defending British Supercross champion Carl Nunn heads an impressive rider line-up for MVR-D Suzuki for the first rounds of the Future West ACU British Supercross Championships, to be held at the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, at The NEC.

Nunn, a long-time British and World Championship competitor, will be riding his 2010 Suzuki RM-Z250 alongside ex-Junior World Champion Matiss Karro at the indoor race events on the evenings of Saturday 28th November and Saturday 5th December.

Nunn, commented: ''I love Supercross as it keeps me sharp over the winter and I''m looking forward to defending my championship on the new Suzuki. The NEC should be great as it looks like its going to be a good sized venue which means exciting racing and better viewing as we really get some air!''

The brand new Off Road Zone, supported by the official manufacturers and their off road race teams, will not only host the British Supercross Championships in the largest arena in the UK, it will be complemented by both retail and display stands, showcasing the best hardware and race kit from some of the biggest names in off road.

Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions said: ''It''s fantastic that we''re able to welcome such high-profile riders and official manufacturer teams to the Show. Presenting a Show that attracts such icons as Carl, will not only appeal to the main off road audience, it will also bring the younger stars of tomorrow to the only place where the industry''s off road clubs and sporting associations will be on hand to help them pursue their riding dreams. Our ultimate aim is to introduce as many new people to the world of off road riding as possible and being able to announce headliners such as Carl, along with the two rounds of the Future West ACU Supercross is proving to be a huge success''.

Ticket prices for both children and family groups have been set at a level that is proving to be attractive and makes the new zone at the Carole Nash Bike Show a real value for money alternative to any of the other off road shows held in the UK.
