14 November 2004 - British Speedway Promoters Association

WOLVERHAMPTON''S Daniel Nermark is making a remarkable recovery from his injuries after breaking both thighs in an horrific crash in May.

The Swede is set to enter hospital later this month to have metalwork removed from his legs. Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: ''It just underlines the determination of the man and I was astounded when he called me and told me the news.''

SCUNTHORPE have agreed a partnership deal with Sheffield as they prepare to enter the Conference League in 2005. Sheffield will not be running at Conference level next year but have several talented youngsters who will gain experience with the Scorpions. Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: ''We have already started putting together a squad and I am sure it will be good enough to finish in the top five - if not better.''
