BRAKE LINE KITS FOR 2009 MODEL MOTORCYCLES Venhill race grade brake lines, as used by Hydrex Honda in BSB and at the Isle of Man TT, are now available for many 2009 model road bikes. Venhill manufacture their brake lines in the UK to the toughest international standards – DOT from America and Germany’s TÜV – which include a critical burst test at 10,000 psi, (brakes operate at around 25-30psi) and a 1,445 Newtons (325 lbs) tensile pull test. Model-specific kits are produced to directly replace the original items, supplied complete with distinctive domed banjos, durable chrome plated steel fittings and factory-fitted rubber guides. Customers can choose between road and race set-up for front lines. Latest additions to the range include the 2009 Honda Fireblade, Kawasaki ZX-6R, Yamaha R1 and R6 as well as the new Suzuki Gladius and Yamaha Diversion. Owners looking to colour coordinate can choose from a range of colours – blue, orange, red, yellow, light green and black – as well as the original braided look. Prices start at £42.55 for twin hose front kits with chrome fittings. Stainless steel fittings are also available.
