New smaller sizes from Alpos

Alpos has introduced a new 32-litre size of polished aluminium hard luggage following the successful launch of its budget-priced 36- and 41-litre cases earlier this year.
Sales of adventure sport motorcycles have been increasing steadily and last year this style outsold Sports Touring bikes for the first time. The budget price of the Alpos cases meant there was immediate demand from riders who wanted the durability and appearance offered by alloy luggage without the designer price tag of the leading brands.

Measuring 367 x 490 x 240mm (H x L x D), the 32-litre box is 30mm narrower than the 36-litre model and weighs just 3.1kg. It is manufactured in Europe by Alpos, a Slovenian company specialising in the manufacture of robust aluminium cases for industrial and commercial use. They used their expertise in bringing a top quality, value for money product to the motorcycle market. Alpos selected 1mm sheet aluminium with sectional aluminium components to construct their cases, which allows them to be both lightweight and robust. Their top-hinged lids open from the rear edge and close against a rubber seal to keep out water, dust and other elements, while the Alpos cases themselves are resistant against corrosion, weather conditions and temperatures.

With strong, synthetic covered safety spring handles, Alpos cases may be adapted to mount with most popular hard luggage rack systems and adaptor kits are available that secure each case to the rack from the inside of the carrier, so that it cannot be removed from the bike when locked

The 32-litre cases retail for £150.00 per pair including VAT – half the price of the big European brands. Adaptor kits cost £36.99 per side and locks to suit the Alpos Alu Boxes are available at £15.99 per pair.
