Ross Verdon Motorcycles, official Moto Guzzi dealer, has new premises in Hixon, Staffordshire. The very name, Moto Guzzi, is enough to excite any motorcycling enthusiast and Ross Verdon Motorcycles welcomed over 100 visitors to their new premises recently to see the latest models in the Italian range. Seventeen test rides allowed a number of the visitors to try out the new Moto Guzzi Stelvio, and the Norge and Bellagio also proved popular with the visiting riders. The much-anticipated Stelvio, powered by an impressive ''quattrovalvole'' engine and Moto Guzzi’s response to the challenge in the road-going maxi-enduro sector, proved to be the star of the show. A number of the visitors vowed to return in June for a test ride, during a planned demo weekend 7 & 8 June 08. Test rides were accompanied by Nigel Bowers of Advanced Motorcycle Training.com www.advancedmotorcycletraining.com Nigel is a Driving Standards approved post test motorcycle trainer and was able to ensure that the test riders had the best possible and safest Moto Guzzi experience as they put the demonstration bikes through their paces on the brilliant roads around Hixon. Nigel, thanks to advanced technology, filmed the test rides and uploaded to ‘Youtube’, generating even more interest during the weekend. So popular was the event that Ross Verdon Motorcycles, will be holding a Moto Guzzi demo ride weekend on 7th and 8th June, when not only will riders be able to enjoy test rides accompanied by Nigel Bowers, but will also be able to ride their own machines on routes pre planned by Ross and Nigel on some of Britain''s best motorcycle roads. Hixon, just off the A51 between Rugeley and Stafford, has some great roads and will become a favoured destination for riders.
