ALL NEW DVD RELEASES HIGHLIGHTING AMA MOTOCROSS, SUPERMOTO COMING FROM AMA PRO RACING “These exciting new products are in response to race fans who for some time now have been asking for racing-specific video content,” stated John C. Farris, Jr. vice-president commercial development with AMA Pro Racing. The first of the two, “Supermoto In The USA”, uses the AMA Supermoto Championship as a backdrop to focus on the American supermoto scene, featuring footage from the inaugural 2003 season of racing, behind-the-scenes footage and rider profiles. “Supermoto In The USA” is the latest AMA Supermoto-licensed product, produced with support from KTM, Dunlop, Troy Lee Designs, Braking, Sidi, Motorex, Umbrella Girls USA and WP. Fans can order the DVD now via the Get Gear link on www.amasupermoto.com. The DVD will begin shipping Nov. 15. The package includes a 90-minute DVD with many extras, including photo galleries, the history of AMA Supermoto, and a second DVD of a unique Red Bull Supermoto Interactive. “We’re very excited about ‘Supermoto In The USA’ as it does a nice job of providing viewers with an understanding of the roots of Supermoto,” said Chris Bradley, AMA Supermoto series manager. “Additionally, it showcases the birth of the AMA Supermoto Championship and will provide great exposure for the race teams and business partners involved with our series.” “Supermoto In The USA” is passive playable on home DVD and completely interactive on personal computers. The “2004 AMA Motocross Season Highlights” DVD will be available in late November and features highlights from each moto of every round of the AMA 125 and 250 Motocross Championships. This video showcases the tightest racing action, the best passes, the biggest air-outs and some of the gnarliest get-offs from the 2004 AMA Motocross Championship. It also tracks Ricky Carmichael’s perfect 24-0 season and James “Bubba” Stewart’s final dominant season in the 125 class. Additional information about the Motocross DVD will be released soon.
